dRC Employment Services
dRC provides Employment Services through our Independent Living services and our Community Rehabilitation Program (CRP) partnership with TN’s Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (VR). dRC consumers do not have to be a VR client to receive Employment Services. dRC has 3 IL Specialists to assist with employment goals. Consumers can obtain free assistance with:
- Locating and completing job applications
- Learn effective interviewing skills
- Dressing for success
- How to network
- Resume and cover letter writing
- How to maintain one’s employment once a job is obtained.
If you are a VR client and you would like to receive assistance from dRC to meet your employment goals, inform your VR Case Manager that you wish to receive assistance from dRC and you will become a dRC consumer through our CRP partnership with VR. You will then began to work with one of our certified IL/Employment Specialist’s free of charge.
You will receive all of the employment services listed above. When you obtain employment and you are in need of a Job Coach, dRC will provide one for you for a limited time, until you are familiar with your job duties/tasks and feel confident you are able to work on your own.
